Most of our frames are “one size,” designed to fit a wide range of faces. A few styles come in multiple sizes. Use your current glasses as the best reference, or follow the quick steps below.
1) How to read frame size (on your glasses)
Look inside the temple (arm). You’ll see numbers like: 52□18–140

Match these to the new frame for the most reliable fit.
2) Quick fit by face width (no glasses handy?)
Use a ruler (millimeters) across your face at the pupils, or try the “credit-card test” (a card is ~54 mm wide).

Roman house, FF codes
Founded in Rome in 1925 by Adele and Edoardo Fendi. Eyewear families are named after and styled to match the leather goods lines, so Baguette, Fendi First and Fendigraphy exist as both bags and frames.

Who makes Fendi eyewear?
Thélios, LVMH's eyewear manufacturer, under an exclusive licence signed in July 2021. Frames are made in Italy at Thélios' Longarone and Padova facilities. Safilo held the licence from 2014 and Marchon before that.
What are the main Fendi eyewear families?
Baguette, Fendi First, Fendigraphy and Fendi Screen. The first three share their names and styling with the house's leather goods lines.
What is the FF motif?
The interlocking double-F graphic used across the house. On eyewear it appears as a temple element, a bridge, or worked into the lens itself rather than as printed branding.
Is Fendi eyewear women's only?
No, though the women's range is the larger half. The men's collection runs squarer shapes and heavier acetate in the same Havana and black colourways.
Can Fendi sunglasses be glazed to prescription?
Many can, and Fendi produces an optical range separately. Shield styles such as Fendi Screen restrict the prescription range — our opticians will confirm before ordering.
Are these frames authentic?
Yes. Fendi frames are sourced through authorised supply and arrive with their branded case, cloth and manufacturer documentation, with a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
