A flat-top acetate rectangle at 53-20-140, the MU 03XV is the most straightforward frame in the Miu Miu optical line and the most useful for anyone who wears glasses all day. The upper rim runs level across the brow, the corners are cut square, and the 20mm bridge holds the lenses apart rather than crowding the nose. Only black is stocked, which is consistent with what this frame is for — it is a working shape rather than a design exercise, and it is the least expensive frame in the Runway optical group. These eyeglasses are the right recommendation for a first Miu Miu frame, or for a second pair to sit alongside something more sculptural like the 03WV.

1) How to read frame size (on your glasses)
Look inside the temple (arm). You’ll see numbers like: 52□18–140

Match these to the new frame for the most reliable fit.

2) Quick fit by face width (no glasses handy?)
Use a ruler (millimeters) across your face at the pupils, or try the “credit-card test” (a card is ~54 mm wide).
