Size

A 31mm lens height is the shallowest in the entire Prada sunglass range — the PR A12S is a band rather than a frame. At 52mm wide on a 21mm bridge it stretches horizontally and shades the eye without touching the cheekbone. Black, transparent, and a brown transparent that reads amber in sun. Four variants, grey or light brown nylon on a flat Base 2 front. Shallow frames suit longer faces; on a short face there is nowhere for this to sit.

Prada

Milan, and the inverted triangle

Founded in Milan in 1913 by Mario Prada. The inverted triangle logo is the recurring eyewear signature, reworked three-dimensionally into the Symbole temples; Minimal Baroque remains the house's best-known sunglass.
