Prada PR C11V Butterfly Eyeglasses
The same four acetates as the C10V on a slightly smaller, slightly deeper frame: 51mm and 53mm at 43–45mm rather than 52mm and 54mm at 40–41mm. The PR C11V is a butterfly on a 17mm bridge with 145mm arms, eight variants. The extra depth is the reason to choose this one — a progressive lens needs the height, and the C10V does not quite give it.

Most of our frames are “one size,” designed to fit a wide range of faces. A few styles come in multiple sizes. Use your current glasses as the best reference, or follow the quick steps below.
1) How to read frame size (on your glasses)
Look inside the temple (arm). You’ll see numbers like: 52□18–140

Match these to the new frame for the most reliable fit.
2) Quick fit by face width (no glasses handy?)
Use a ruler (millimeters) across your face at the pupils, or try the “credit-card test” (a card is ~54 mm wide).

Prada
Milan, and the inverted triangle
Founded in Milan in 1913 by Mario Prada. The inverted triangle logo is the recurring eyewear signature, reworked three-dimensionally into the Symbole temples; Minimal Baroque remains the house's best-known sunglass.

Who makes Prada eyewear?
EssilorLuxottica, under licence since July 2003, when Luxottica took over from a Prada/De Rigo joint venture. The same licence covers Prada Linea Rossa and Miu Miu, and now runs to the end of 2030 with an option to 2035.
What is Minimal Baroque?
Prada's best-known sunglass model, reference PR 27NS, launched in 2011. It is an oversized round acetate frame with a scrolled, garland-like ornament running along the temple.
What is the Symbole collection?
A frame family built around the house's inverted triangle logo, reworked three-dimensionally into the temple rather than applied as a flat plaque.
What is the difference between Prada and Prada Linea Rossa?
Linea Rossa is Prada's technical and sport line, identified by a red stripe, built around wrap-influenced shapes in rubberised nylon, metal and titanium. Main-line Prada is fashion-led, mostly acetate and metal.
Can Prada sunglasses be glazed to prescription?
Most can, and Prada produces a large optical range separately. Strongly wrapped Linea Rossa shapes have prescription limits — our opticians will confirm the frame before ordering.
