1) How to read frame size (on your glasses)
Look inside the temple (arm). You’ll see numbers like: 52□18–140

Match these to the new frame for the most reliable fit.
2) Quick fit by face width (no glasses handy?)
Use a ruler (millimeters) across your face at the pupils, or try the “credit-card test” (a card is ~54 mm wide).

Versace
Medusa and the Greca key
Founded in Milan in 1978 by Gianni Versace. Two house emblems carry the eyewear: the Medusa head applied at the temple, and the Greca key-pattern, which gives its name to a separate frame family.

Who makes Versace eyewear?
EssilorLuxottica, under a licence held since 2003, covering both sunglasses and prescription frames. Prada Group acquired the Versace house itself in December 2025; the eyewear licensee is unchanged.
What is Medusa Biggie?
Versace's main named eyewear family, referencing 1990s music culture. It runs across maxi, square and shield shapes in both sunglasses and optical, all carrying the Medusa head at the temple.
What is the Greca pattern?
The Greek key motif used throughout the house. In eyewear it names a separate frame family, including the Greca Navigator, and appears worked into temples rather than as an applied logo.
Are Versace frames suitable for everyday wear?
The plain acetate and metal styles are straightforward daily frames. The maxi Medusa and crystal-set models are larger and more visible — worth trying on rather than ordering blind.
Can Versace sunglasses be glazed to prescription?
