Who makes Montblanc eyewear?
Kering Eyewear. It signed in July 2018 and the licence took effect in January 2019, starting with the Spring/Summer 2019 collection. Marcolin made Montblanc eyewear from 2001 for the preceding seventeen years.
How does the eyewear relate to the pens?
Directly. Temples are styled on the Meisterstück pen barrel, with metal ring accents and a nib-shaped element used as the recognition detail. There is no clothing collection to draw from.
Is the range men's only?
It is men's-led and formal in weighting — metal and titanium optical frames, combination acetate-and-metal constructions — rather than a fashion range split evenly between men's and women's.
Do Montblanc frames have model names?
No. The range uses MB reference codes printed inside the temple with the colour code and the three size figures.
Can Montblanc sunglasses be glazed to prescription?
Most can, and the optical range is the larger half of the collection. Our opticians will confirm the frame and prescription before ordering.
Are these frames authentic?
Yes. Montblanc frames are sourced through authorised supply and arrive with their branded case, cloth and manufacturer documentation, with a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
